AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE DISPERSING OF
PERSONS IN THE NEAR VICINITY OF A DISORDERLY
ASSEMBLY OR RIOT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that an
ordinance relating to the dispersing of persons in the near vicinity of a
disorderly assembly or riot is hereby enacted.
COMMAND TO LEAVE OR DISPERSE
It shall be unlawful for any person in the near vicinity of a
disorderly assembly or a riot, whether an active participant or not,
• and who has been commanded by any law enforcement officer to leave
the vicinity or disperse, to fail or refuse to do so without justifiable
cause.
Passed and adopted this 17th day of August ,1970.
