ORDINANCE NO. I
AN ORDINANCE NAMING CERTAIN UNNAMED STREETS AND RENAMING CERTAIN STREETS
AND PARTS OF STREETS IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
Sec. 1 That the name of the public street located on Prospect Acres Addition
in the City of Waterloo , Iowa, and extending West from the East City Limits to
the East line of Foulk Road, which is presently known by the name of Clearview
Avenue, is , by these presents, changed to the name of Rosedale Avenue, and
said public street shall hereafter be known by said name of Rosedale Avenue.
Sec. 2 That the name of the public street located in Prospect Acres Addition
in the City of Waterloo , Iowa , and extending West from the East City Limits to
the Easterly line of Rocket Street, which is presently known by the name of Center
Avenue, is , by these presents, changed to the name of Mardelle Avenue , and said
public street shall hereafter be known by said name of Mardelle Avenue .
Sec. 3 That the name of the public street extending North and South located
along the West line of Sections 8 and 17 in T-88N-R13W of the 5th P.M. in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, which is presently known by the name of Country Road,
is , by these presents, changed to the name of Hoff Road , and said public street
shall hereafter be known by said name of Hoff Road.
Sec. 4 That the name of the public street located in the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa, and extending Northeasterly from the Northeast corner of the intersection
of Murphy Road and Hess Road to the Southwesterly line of U.S. Highway 218 ,
which is presently known by the name of Murphy Road, is, by these presents,
changed to the name of Hess Road, and said public street shall hereafter be
known by the name of Hess Road .
Sec. 5 That the name of the public street located in the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa , extending Northeasterly from the East line of the present intersection of
Conger Street and Lincoln Street, thence East to the West line of Mullan Avenue,
part of which is unnamed and part by the name of Riehl Street, is, by these pre-
sents , all changed to the name of Conger Street, and said public street shall
hereafter be known by said name of Conger Street.
Sec. 6 That the name of the public street located in Litchfield Addition in
the City of Waterloo , Iowa, and extending North from the Northeasterly line of
the Illinois Central Railroad to 290 feet North of Litchfield Avenue , which is
presently known by the name of Broadway Street, is , by these presents changed
to the name of David Street, and said public street shall hereafter be known by
said name of David Street.
Sec. 7 That the name of the public street located in Auditor Rainbow Plat
of Ricksler's Addition in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and extending from the
Southwest line of East Mullan Avenue and extending to the East line of Logan
Avenue, which is presently unnamed, is , by these presents , given the name of
Kern Street, and said public street shall hereafter be known by said name of
Kern Street.
Sec. 8 That the name of the public street extending Southeasterly from the
South line of Park Road to the Northwesterly line of Utica Street, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, which is presently unnamed, i s, by these presents, given the
name of Broadway Street, and said public street shall hereafter be known by said
name of Broadway Street.

and said public street shall hereafter be known by said name of Broadway Steeet.
Sec. 10 That the name of the public street in Section 2-T88N-R13W which is
looping the present Crossroads Shopping Center, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
which is presently unnamed, is, by these presents , given the name of Cross-
roads Boulevard, and said public street shall hereafter be known by said name
of Crossroads Boulevard.
Sec. 11 That the name of the public street extending from the Northwesterly
line of proposed Crossroads Boulevard to the Southeast line of Iowa Highway No.
412 at the most Northeasterly part of Ti .S. Highway No. 412 , in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, which is presently unnamed, i s, by these presents, given the
name of Sears Street, and said public street shall hereafter be known by said
name of Sears Street.
Sec. 12 That the name of the public street extending from the Northwesterly
line of proposed Crossroads Boulevard to the Southeast line of Iowa Highway No.
412 between proposed Sears Street and proposed Flamming Street, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, which is presently unnamed, is, by these presents, given the
name of Penns Street, and said public street shall hereafter be known by said
name of Penneys Street.
Sec. 13 That the name of the public street extending from the Southeasterly
line of proposed Crossroads Boulevard to the Southeast line of Iowa Highway No.
412 Southwesterly of proposed Penneys Street in the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
which is presently unnamed, is, by these presents , given the name of Flamming
Street, and said public street shall hereafter be known by said name of Flamming
Street.
Sec. 14 That the name of the public street extending from the Southwesterly
line of U.S. Highway No. 218 to the Northeasterly line of proposed Crossroads
Boulevard, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, which is presently unnamed, is, by
these presents , given the name of Bopp Street, and said public street shall
hereafter be known by said name of Bopp Street.
Sec. 15 That the name of the public street extending from the Southwest line
of U.S. Highway No. 218 to the East line of proposed Crossroads Boulevard, in
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, which is presently unnamed, is, by these presents,
given the name of Grimm Street, and said public street shall hereafter be known
by said name of Grimm Street.
Sec. 16 That the name of the public street presently known as Iowa High-
way No. 21 , extending North from the South line of the City Limits to the South
line of Iowa Highway No. 412 , in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, which is presently
unnamed, is, by these presents, given the name of Hawkeye Road, and said
public street shall hereafter be known by said name of Hawkeye Road.

presently unnamed, is, by there presents, given the name of Broadway Street,
and said public street shall hereafter be known by said name of Broadway Steeet.
