RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED WITH THE
PURCHASE OF TACTICAL BODY ARMOR.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2010-493, specifications, bid
document, form of contract, etc., for the Purchase of Tactical
Body Armor, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, have been approved and
adopted by this Council after the hearing prescribed by statute.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it
is so ordered on motion by this Council that the said purchase be
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21St day of June, 2010.

RESOLUTION NO. 2010-493
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENT, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ESTIMATED COST, ETC., IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE PURCHASE OF TACTICAL BODY ARMOR.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Police Chief of said City to prepare
proposed specifications, bid document, form of contract, etc.,
for the Purchase of Tactical Body Armor, in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Police Chief ,did file said preliminary
specifications, bid document, form'of contract, etc., for the
Purchase of Tactical Body Armor, which were preliminarily
approved on May 24, 2010, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on June 21,
2010, and no objections were made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed specifications, bid document,
form of contract, etc., for the Purchase of Tactical Body Armor,
in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are hereby,
approved as filed.
