RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN EXCEPTION TO THE
PURCHASING POLICY FOR THE PURCHASE OF A USED,
DEMONSTRATION, SANITATION TRUCK, FOR THE PUBLIC
WORKS SANITATION DEPARTMENT, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$349,500.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the requested exception to the City of Waterloo's Purchasing Procedures Policy to
approve the purchase of one (1) used, demonstration, Sanitation Truck, for the Public Works
Sanitation Department, from Elliot Equipment Company of Grimes, Iowa, in the amount of
$349,500.00, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of July 2023.
