RESOLUTION NO. 2023-430
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 3, 2023, AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS AUGUST 7, 2023, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE WATERLOO PUBLIC LIBRARY 2023 INTERIOR
RENOVATION PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 28439, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the Waterloo Public Library 2023 Interior Renovation Project, Contract No.
28439, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the Waterloo Public Library 2023
Interior Renovation Project, Contract No. 28439, be scheduled for August 3, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 7th day of August 2023, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the Waterloo Public Library 2023 Interior Renovation
Project, Contract No. 28439.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
