RESOLUTION NO. 2023-435
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY ASPRO, INC., OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,326,130.56, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2022 STREET
RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM, CONTRACT NO. 1057, AND
RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Aspro, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, performed work in conjunction with the FY
2022 Street Reconstruction Program, Contract No. 1057, and
WHEREAS, Aspro, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project, in accordance with
the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by Council March 21, 2022,
Resolution No. 2022-152.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Aspro, Inc., at a total cost of $ 4,326,130.56, in conjunction with
the FY 2022 Street Reconstruction Program, Contract No. 1057, are hereby approved, and the
two-year Maintenance Bond is hereby accepted and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of July 2023.
