RESOLUTION NO. 2023-439 RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT AND MINIMUM ASSESSMENT AGREEMENT WITH 3 STOOGES, LLC, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW 50,000 SQUARE FOOT WAREHOUSE, WITH A MINIMUM ASSESSED VALUE OF $1,450,00.00, AND TAX REBATES OF FIVE (5) YEARS AT FIFTY PERCENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2023-248. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the Development and Minimum Assessment Agreement dated July 17, 2023, between 3 Stooges, LLC and the City of Waterloo, for the construction of a new 50,000-square- foot warehouse with a minimum assessed value of $1,450,000.00, and tax rebates of five (5) years at fifty percent, for property located at the southeast corner of Leversee Road and Hyper Drive, and legally described as follows: LOTS 1 AND 2, WATERLOO AIR AND RAIL PARK 2ND ADDITION, EXCEPT THE SOUTH 145.15 FEET, CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa. 2. That Resolution No. 2023-248 is hereby rescinded in its entirety. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of July 2023.
