RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENT, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ESTIMATED COST, ETC., IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE PURCHASE OF ASPHALT EMULSION
PRODUCTS TO BE USED FOR THIS YEAR'S
OILING/SEAL COATING AND CRACK SEALING
PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Superintendent of Streets of said City
to prepare proposed specifications, bid document, form of
contract, etc., for the Purchase of Asphalt Emulsion Products to
be used for this year's Oiling/Seal Coating and Crack Sealing
Program, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Streets did file said
preliminary specifications, bid document, form of contract, etc.,
for the Purchase of Asphalt Emulsion Products to be used for this
year's Oiling/Seal Coating and Crack Sealing Program, which were
preliminarily approved on June 7, 2010, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on June 21,
2010, and no objections were made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed specifications, bid document,
form of contract, etc., for the Purchase of Asphalt Emulsion
Products to be used for this year's Oiling/Seal Coating and Crack
Sealing Program, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same
are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21St day of June, 2010.
