RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATED
COST, ETC., IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE RIDGEWAY
AVENUE AND HIGHWAY 63 (SERGEANT ROAD) TRAFFIC
SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS, CONTRACT NO. 760.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Superintendent of Traffic Operations of
said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc., for the Ridgeway Avenue and Highway 63 (Sergeant
Road) Traffic Safety Improvements, Contract No. 760, in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Traffic Operations did file
said preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc.,
for the Ridgeway Avenue and Highway 63 (Sergeant Road) Traffic
Safety Improvements, Contract No. 760, in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, which were preliminarily approved on June 14, 2010, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on June 21,
2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc., for the Ridgeway Avenue and Highway 63 (Sergeant
Road) Traffic Safety Improvements, Contract No. 760, in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are hereby, approved as
filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21St day of June, 2010.
