RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REAL ESTATE PURCHASE
AGREEMENT WITH RUAN INCORPORATED, FOR THE
CITY ACQUISITION OF TWO (2) VACANT PARCELS ON
NEVADA STREET, IN THE AMOUNT OF $0.00 (PARCELS
DONATED) PLUS CLOSING COSTS IN AN AMOUNT NOT
TO EXCEED $3,000.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that the Real Estate Purchase Agreement with Ruan Incorporated, for the City acquisition of two
(2) vacant parcels on Nevada Street, in the amount of$0.00 (parcels donated) plus closing costs
in an amount not to exceed$3,000.00, and legally described as follows:
LOT 5 AND THE SOUTH 107 FEET OF LOT 4 OF AUDITORS BELL
COURT PLAT, CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNT,
IOWA
is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute
said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of April 2023.
