and other valuable consideration,
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
does hereby Quit Claim to
KENNETH F. COX and RAYMOND SHEPPARD, III, as joint tenants
with full rights of survivorship,and not as tenants in common,
all our right, title, interest, estate, claim and demand in the following-described real estate in Black
Hawk County, Iowa:
The platted alley adjoining Lots 1 through 8 and Lots 17 through 24 of Block 23 of Auditor Rainbows
Plat of Maywood Second Filing, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, subject to the retention of
a public utility easement over, under, across and upon the East 25 feet thereof. This Deed corrects that
Quit Claim Deed dated May 31, 2023 and recorded as Doc. 2023-00016723 on June 13, 2023.
This transaction exempt from Documentary Stamp and Declaration of Value per Iowa Code§428A.2(6)(2022).
Each of the undersigned hereby relinquishes all rights of dower,homestead and distributive share in and to the real estate.
Words and phrases herein,including acknowledgment hereof,shall be construed as in the singular or plural number,and
as masculine or feminine gender,according to the context.

and who,being by me duly sworn, did say that they are the Mayor and City Clerk,respectively, of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa; that the seal affixed to the foregoing instrument is the corporate seal
of the corporation, and that the instrument was signed and sealed on behalf of the corporation by
authority of its City Council as contained in the Resolution adopted by the City Council, under
Resolution No. 313, of the City Council on the 15th day of May, 2023, and that Quentin Hart and
Kelley Felchie, acknowledged the execution of the instrument to be their voluntary act and deed
and the voluntary act and deed of the corporation,by it voluntarily executed.
