RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF BID TO BOLAND
RECREATION OF MARSHALLTOWN, IOWA FOR MIRACLE
RECREATION EQUIPMENT COMPANY FOR THE CEDAR
RIVER/EXCHANGE PARK PLAY STRUCTURE, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $28,650.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Boland Recreation of Marshalltown, Iowa, in
the amount of $28,650.00, for Miracle Recreation Equipment
Company for the Cedar River/Exchange Park Play Structure,
described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by
this Council for said project, after public hearing on published
notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being
the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21St day of June, 2010.
