RESOLUTION APPROVING HOUSING ENTERPRISE ZONE
PROGRAM AGREEMENTS WITH IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND DIRECTING EXECUTION
OF SAID AGREEMENTS BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Housing Enterprise Zone Program Agreements dated June
21, 2010, with the following business:
1.
Legacy Waterloo,
LP -
construction of 60 units, drive
within Enterprise Zone,
located on Flammang Drive just
north of the existing
Menard's
store; and
2.
JSA Development,
LLC -
rehabilitation of 3 units within
Enterprise Zone
located
at 217 West 4th Street; and
3.
JSA Development,
LLC -
rehabilitation of 5 units within
Enterprise Zone
located
at 320-322 East 4th Street; and
4.
JSA Development,
LLC -
rehabilitation of 8 units within
Enterprise Zone
located
at 326-330 East 4th Street; and
5.
JSA Development,
LLC -
rehabilitation of 6 units within
Enterprise Zone
located
at 612-616 Mulberry Street; and
6.
Orr Development
- rehabilitation
of 4 apartments within
Enterprise Zone
located
at 616 Sycamore Street; and
7. Russell Lamson GP - rehabilitation of 92 apartments
within Enterprise Zone located at 209 West 5th Street;
by and between the Iowa Department of Economic Development and
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved,
and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21St day of June, 2010.
