When this potential change order is signed by the Owner and a copy is returned to the contractor, approval of change(s) is effective IMMEDIATELY and we will proceed with the change(s) described above. Matthias mentioned that their irrigation sub has included to use a backhoe for the 3" irrigation line. There were questions on why this couldn't be trenched in. Matthias to check with his irrigation sub to see if that is a possibility / supply team with more info on why we need to backhoe the 3" line a. Could the golf course assist with 3" install if irrigation sub does not feel it is possible to open trench with a 3" line? Confirmed with irrigation company they are trenching not backhoe, misunderstanding on my part b. Matthias is to check in with sub to see if they are comfortable with Toro Links system and control programming Irrigation company does feel comfortable they will be able to program the links system their supplier Site One is a Toro Dealer and Originally designed the system at that golf course, and their Site One Rep will be assisting our contractor with this task. 2. Breakout of central control system cost was requested by design team and city The price is the price. Doug, Mark, and John talked about this at the preconstruction meeting a couple weeks ago. 3. Matthias to give credit for switching #5 shrubs to #3 shrubs Bid Item 120: If we switch the #5 Shrubs to #3 price is $63.62 each. $79.41-$63.62= $15.79 savings ea$15.79 * 120shrubs = $1,894.80 savings 4. Matthias to give credit for eliminating weed barrier under mulched areas $7,000 savings
