RESOLUTION APPROVING ORDER ACCEPTING
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT/SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT WITH
METRO MART 4, 2332 FALLS AVENUE, AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID ORDER BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Order Accepting the Acknowledgement/Settlement Agreement
dated June 17, 2010, assessing penalty in the amount of $1,500.00
and a suspension of cigarette permit for thirty (30) days during
the month of October 2010, in conjunction with Third Violation of
Iowa Code 453A.2(1) for selling, giving, or otherwise supplying
any tobacco, tobacco products or cigarettes to any person under
eighteen years of age, by and between Metro Mart 4, 2332 Falls
Avenue, Waterloo, Iowa and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the
same is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized
to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of June, 2010.
