RESOLUTION NO. 2018-087
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FOURTH AMENDMENT TO
DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH DEER CREEK
DEVELOPMENT, LLC TO MAKE ANNUAL PAYMENTS OF
$200,000 AND ADD IN THE FORMER GREYHOUND PARK
SITE FOR THE DEER CREEK AGREEMENT, AND
AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Fourth Amendment to the original Development Agreement dated October 13, 2006, as
amended by amendments dated July 7, 2008 the (First Amendment"), March 14, 2011 (the
"Second Amendment"), and August 15, 2016 (the "Third Amendment") between Deer Creek
Development, LLC and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, providing for certain grants to be made by
the City of Waterloo to Deer Creek Development, LLC, from specific tax revenues generated by
the property in connection with specified development activities, is hereby approved and the
Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of February 2018.
