RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
AUGUST 21, 2023, TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY
BRYANT CIZEK ON BEHALF OF C&C WELDING TO
VACATE APPROXIMATELY A 66-FOOT BY 132-FOOT, 0.2-
ACRE SECTION OF W. 16TH STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY
ADJACENT TO 1714 RIVER STREET, IN THE M-1 LIGHT
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 21' day of August 2023, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the request by Bryant Cizek on behalf of C&C Welding
to vacate approximately a 66-foot by 132-foot, 0.2-acre section of W. 16th Street right-of-way
adjacent to 1714 River Street, in the M-1 Light Industrial District.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of
said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of August 2023.
