RESOLUTION NO. 2023-467
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TRAFFIC SAFETY
GRANT APPLICATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $262,000.00,
FOR TRAFFIC SIGNALIZATION OF 1ST STREET (US 63)
AND SYCAMORE STREET INTERSECTION AND
COMMITTING TO MAINTAINING THE IMPROVEMENTS
FOR THE LIFE OF THE PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that submission of the Iowa Department of Transportation Traffic Safety grant application
in the amount of $262,000.00, for Traffic Signalization of lst Street (US 63) and Sycamore Street
Intersection and committing to maintaining the improvements for the life of the project, is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7`h day of August 2023.
