RESOLUTION NO. 2023-468
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CERTIFY
AGAINST CERTAIN PARCELS FOR UNPAID GARBAGE, SEWER,
WATER, AND STORMWATER FEES.
WHEREAS, Iowa Code Section 384.84(3)(a) allows municipalities to certify for unpaid
garbage, sewer, water, and storm water fees, to the benefited property as a lien.
WHEREAS, the property owners failed to pay fees for sewer, storm water, and garbage
for the property located at 311 Rhey Street in the amount of $1,662.52.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify to the Black Hawk County
Treasurer a balance of $1,662.52 owed for city services for property located at 311 Rhey Street
(parcel no. 891325277007) as follows:
• Sewer: $1,235.90
• Storm Water: $106.57
• Garbage: $320.05
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of August 2023.
