RESOLUTION NO. 2023-472
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH
ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES, CONTRACT NO. AB-
2023-07-02P, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 212
SUNNYSIDE AVENUE AND 1318 MARTIN ROAD.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Community Planning and Development Director of said city to prepare and file plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with Asbestos Abatement Services, Contract
No. AB-2023-07-02P, for property located at 212 Sunnyside Avenue and 1318 Martin Road, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director did file said plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with Asbestos Abatement Services, Contract
No. AB-2023-07-02P, for property located at 212 Sunnyside Avenue and 1318 Martin Road, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on August 7, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion by
this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with Asbestos
Abatement Services, Contract No. AB-2023-07-02P, for property located at 212 Sunnyside
Avenue and 1318 Martin Road, are hereby approved, and said project proceed in accordance with
said specifications.
