RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING
AS FEBRUARY 5 , 1979, ON PROPOSAL TO VACATE, SELL
AND CONVEY AN EIGHT (8) FOOT ALLEY NORTH OF AND
ADJACENT TO LOTS 1, 2, 3 , 4 AND 5, WEISHAAR' S
ADDITION TO LARRY L, AND ILA Jo OWENS, WAYNE R,
AND DOROTHY M, BILLMAN, GEORGE V, EIGHMEY AND
JOHN D. AND MAXINE J , SCHARFENBERG,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
as follows :
1. That public hearing will be held by the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall of
Waterloo, Iowa at 7 : 00 o ' clock PoM, on the 5th day of February, 1979
on the proposal to vacate, sell and convey an eight (8) foot alley,
North of and adjacent to Lots 1, 2, 3 ,4and 5 of Weishaar' s Addition,
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa owned by the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at $Oo10 per square foot plus costs, to Larry L,
and Ila J . Owens, Wayne R, and Dorothy M. Billman, George V , Eighmey,
and John D. and Maxine J , Scharfenberg, for $51 . 20, $80 . 72 , $40, 00 and
$40 , 00 plus costs, respectively, with City retention of a utility
easement , and legally described as follows:
Vacation with Retention of a utility easement over, under and upon:
The eight (8) foot alley lying North of and adjacent to Lots
1, 2 , 3 , 4 and 5 of Weishaar' s Addition, City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa,
Sell and convey:
To: Larry L . and Ila J, Owens for $51020 the following legally described
parcel, with City retention of a utility easement over, under and upon :
The eight (8) foot alley lying North of and adjacent to Lot 1,
Weishaar' s Addition, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowan
To: Wayne R. and Dorothy M, Billman for $80 , 72 the following legally
described parcel with City retention of a utility easement over, under
and upon:
The eight (8) foot alley lying North of and adjacent to Lot 2 and
the eight (8) foot alley lying North of and adjacent to Lot 5 ,
