RESOLUTION .APPROVING PAS ESTIMATE NO. 6 (FINAL) AS
TO WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED BY CEDAR FALLS CON-
STRUCTION CO. , FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SAN SOUCI BRIDGE
APPROACHES, PAVING, SEWERS AND INCIDENTALS, CONTRACT
NO. 160, ACCEPTING THE WORK AND CERTIFYING PAYMENT
ACCORDINGLY.
WHEREAS, Cedar Falls Construction Company, Cedar Falls, Iowa, have
under contract with the City of Waterloo, Iowa, dated July 5, 1977, fur-
nished certain materials and performed labor in connection with the con-
struction of Sans Souci Bridge Approaches, Paving, Sewers and Incidentals,
Contract No. 160, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, the Final Pay Estimate No. 6 Report of Brice, Petrides &
Associates, Inc. , Waterloo, Iowa, Engineers, for the work performed and
materials furnished by the said Contractors under said contract , Commun-
ity Development Block Grant Funds is $311, 179.45, and
WHEREAS, under the terms of said contract said Contrators, Cedar
Falls Construction Co. , are to be paid 90% of the monthly estimates as
furnished by the Engineers for the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Contractors have been previously paid the amount of
$759, 126. 60 , leaving a balance due of $10, 209.47, now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA: That
the Final report of the Engineers be approved, the work accepted , said
Contractors, Cedar Falls Construction Co. , be paid the Gum of $10, 209.47,
being payment in full for said contract , and that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby authorized , empowered and ordered to certify that a warrant
should be drawn from the appropriate Expenditures Funds for the sum of
$10, 209.47 and the same be delivered to the said Cedar Falls Construction
Co.
Passed and adopted this 15th day of January, 1979.
