RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT OF $9, 717. 12 ACCUMULATED
SICK LEAVE AND VACATION PAY TO ASSISTANT POLICE CHIEF
GEORGE HANSEN OF POLICE DEPARTMENT,
WHEREAS , on the 15th day of January, 1979, Assistant Police Chief
George Hansen terminated from employment in the Police Department in
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS , Assistant Police Chief George Hansen is entitled to payment
for 102 days of sick leave ,and
WHEREAS, Assistant Police Chief George Hansen has earned and is
entitled to 24 days vacation pay, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that Assistant Police Chief George Hansen be paid the total amount of
$9, 717 . 12, being payment in full for above mentioned sick leave and
earned vacation, and that the Finance Director be , and he is hereby,
authorized, empowered and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly for
said sum and deliver the same to Assistant Poiice Chief George Hansen.
Passed and adopted by City Council on 15th day of January, 1979,
approved by the Mayor on 15th day of January, 1979 .
