A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM BUDGET BY
TRANSFERRING FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $130,000 FROM "PUBLIC WORKS, FACILITIES, AND
SITE IMPROVEMENTS" AND "CONTINGENCIES" TO"REHABILITATION"
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo entered into an Agreement with the Federal
Government approving the Community Development Block Grant Program and Budget; and
WHEREAS, an amount of $861,507 was budgeted for Rehabilitation Loans and
Grants; and
WHEREAS, funds for Rehabilitation Loans and Grants are nearly exhausted;
and
WHEREAS, additional funds for said program will not be available until
June 1979; and
WHEREAS, there are funds available in Contingencies and Public Works,
Facilities, and Site Improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the Community Development Block Grant Budget as previously
approved be revised by transferring the sum of $57,040 from the "Contingencies"
Budget Line Item and $72,960 from the "Public Works, Facilities & Site Improvements"
Budget Line Item, for a total of $130,000, to the "Rehabilitation Loan and Grant"
Budget Line Item.
