A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE IOTA
PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY OF WATERLOO, IOWA IN CONNECTION WITH THE LOCAL FLOOD
CONTROL PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is engaged in a Local Flood Control Project,
and
WHEREAS, the Iowa Public Service Company is title holder of some of the
land required for flood control levees, and
WHEREAS, the Iowa Public Service Company provided an Easement Agreement
stipulating under what conditions the City of Waterloo may construct levees
and other flood control devices on their land,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor be authorized to execute
the proposed Easement Agreement on behalf of the City of Waterloo, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of the executed Easement Agreement
be returned to the Iowa Public Service Company for their records.
