A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON VACATION
OF A PORTION OF CEDAR STREET AS MARCH 26,
1979, AT 7:00 P.M. IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF
CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa at 7 :00 o'clock P.M. , on the 26th day
of March, 1979, for the purpose of considering and acting
upon a proposal to vacate a portion of Cedar Street lying
between SW1y r-o-w line of West First Street and NEly r-o-w
line of West Mullan Avenue in OPE, with City retention of
easement requested by Waterloo City Plan and Program Com-
mission, owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, described as
follows:
That portion of Cedar Street lying between
the Southwesterly right-of-way line of West
First Street and the Northeasterly right-of-
way line of West Mullan Avenue in the Original
Plat of Waterloo East , City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa .
Section 2 - That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Daily Courier, in the manner provided by section 362. 3 of the
1977 Code of Iowa .
Passed and adopted this 5th day of March, 1979.
