RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT OF $3 , 376 . 32 ACCUMULATED
SICK LEAVE AND VACATION PAY TO JOHN G . LAVENDER, JR.
RESIGNEE OF ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, on the 16th day of March, 1979, John G. Lavender, Jr .
resigned from employment in the Engineering Department in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS , John G . Lavender, Jr . is entitled to payment for
6262 hours of sick leave , in the amount of $2, 584, 32, and
WHEREAS , John G. Lavender, Jr. has earned and is entitled to
12 days vacation pay, in the amount of $792. 00, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that John G. Lavender, Jr, be paid the total amount of $3, 376. 32, being
payment in full for above mentioned sick leave and earned vacation,
and that the Finance Director, be , and he is hereby, authorized,
empowered and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly for said sum and
deliver the same to John G . Lavender, Jr ,
Passed and adopted by City Council on 19th day of March, 1979,
approved by the Mayor on 19th day of March, 1979 .
