A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING FROM THE ROAD USE TAX FUND THE
SUM OF TWO HUNDRED SIXTY SEVEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED
FIFTEEN DOLLARS AND SIXTY THREE CENTS ($ 267,315.63) TO
STREET RELATED CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
WHEREAS, House File 491 passed by the 67th General Assembly
and signed into law on June 27, 1978 awarded Cities an increase
in their portion of the Road Use Tax fund they will receive for
street construction and maintenance, and
WHEREAS, this change in the law became effective after the
�978-1979 Fiscal Year budgets for cities had been approved
it
will be necessary prior to the close of the Fiscal Year to,
the 1978-1979 Fiscal Year budget, and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a transfer in the amount of
$ 267,315.63 from the Road Use Tax fund to various street
related capital improvement funds as listed,
311 1975 Paving Contract # 135 $ 36,475.96
312 West Ridgeway Construction # 151 6,086.43
313 Sidewalk Program Cont # 42 9,194.92
314 Street Resurfacing & Repair # 155 22,580.38
315 River Road Paving Cont # 142 74,973.39
324 Wren Road Storm Sewer # 89 67,509.74
332 Randall-Wellington Paving # 145 1,477.70
334 1972 Grading Program # 12 41,964.42
346 Sidewalk Repair Cont # 43 7,052.69
in order that these projects may be closed out as the projects
are completed, be, and the same is hereby, approved
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be instructed to
certify a copy of this Resolution to the City Treasurer of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, in order that said transfer be made.
Passed and adopted this 23rd day of April 1979.
