RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT OF $2, 468. 49
ACCUMULATED SICK LEAVE AND VACATION PAY TO
L . ROBERT MELENDY, RESIGNEE AS ASSISTANT
PERSONNEL DIRECTOR.
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of April, 1979, L. Robert Melendy
resigned from employment as the Assistant Personnel Director in
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, L . Robert Melendy is entitled to payment for 161
hours of sick leave, in the amount of $1, 238.09, and
WHEREAS, L. Robert Melendy has earned and is entitled to
160 hours vacation pay, in the amount of $1, 230. 40, now, there-
fore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that L. Robert Melendy be paid the total amount of $2, 468. 49,
being payment in full for above mentioned sick leave and earned
vacation, and that the Finance Director be, and he is hereby, auth-
orized , empowered and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly for
said sum and deliver the same to L . Robert Melendy.
Passed and adopted by City Council on 23rd day of April, 1979,
approved by the Mayor on 23rd day of April, 1979.
