RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON VACAT-
ION OF CERTAIN EASEMENTS IN KINGSWOOD
ADDITION AREA AND WLY OF WEST FOURTH ST-
REET, AS MAY 29, 1979 AT 7 :00 P.M. IN THE
COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND CLERK
TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, as follows:
1. That public hearing will be held by the Council of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa in the Council Chambers of the City Hall
of Waterloo, Iowa at 7:00 o' clock P.M. on t'he 29th day of May,
1979 on the proposal to vacate, certain easements in Kingswood
Addition area and Wly of West Fourth Street , owned by the City
of Waterloo, Iowa to H.F. Michaels for Young Development Company,
and legally described as follows:
A strip of land sixteen (16) feet in width
the centerline of which is the northwesterly
line of Lots Five (5) , Six (6) , and Seven (7) ,
and that part of the Southwesterly line of Lot
No. Seven (7) , KINGSWOOD ADDITION, Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as beginn-
ing at the most westerly corner of said Lot
Seven (7) thence South 28° 51 ' 22" East 35. 7
feet ; and a strip of land eight (8) feet in
width the southeasterly line of which is de-
scribed as beginning at the most westerly corn-
er of said Lot Seven (7) thence South 50 42 ' 44"
West 46. 4 feet .
2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Water-
loo Courier by publication once four to twenty days before the
hearing before the Council at which said proposal is to be acted
on.
Passed and adopted this 7th day of May, 1979.
