HomeMy WebLinkAbout26278-05.07.1979 RESOLUTION NO. 2 6 2 7 E A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO JEAN SHERBURNE AND AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF ONE TEMPOF.ARY CONCRETE DRIVEWAY AT 230 MARYLAND AVENUE, WATERLOO, IOWA IRRESPECTIVE OF A LATER OFFICIAL GRADE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA: That, WHEREAS, Jean Sherburne made written application to the City Council asking that be authorized and permitted to construct one temporary concrete driveway at 230 Maryland Avenue without respect to a permanent sidewalk grade when and if the same may be subsequently set on All Lot 166 Ex N 15' Lot 167, Prospect Place, Waterloo known as 230 Maryland Avenue ; and WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that said request should be granted, now, therefore, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permission is hereby granted to Jean Sherburne to construct one temporary concrete driveway at 230 Maryland Avenue, Waterloo, Lowa, in accordance with the existing contour of the abutting land with the subjective understanding and agreement between the City of Waterloo, Iowa , and the said Jean Sherburne that , should at a later date a permanent formal grade be established for sidewalk purposes or otherwise, that the said Jean Sherburne will immediately thereafter, and at her own expense, remove all or whatever portion of temporary concrete driveway she may have constructed, and re- build or reconstruct the same in accordance with the permanent grade as may hereafter be set and established, the work to be done under the supervision of the City Engineer. LP IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is authorized and direct- ed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Black Hawk County Recorder for recording and the Black Hawk County Auditor for filing in order that this said action may become a matter of official County Record.
