RESOLUTION .APPROVING TWO LEASE AGREEMENTS
DATED MAY 1, 1979, WITH JERRY WEEKLEY DBA
J & L AUTO SALVAGE, AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF SANE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the two Lease Agreements dated May 1, 1979, with
Jerry Weekley dba J & L Auto Salvage, Waterloo, Iowa, for the
period of one year of May 1 , 1979 through April 30, 1980, for
leasing of certain property described as:
Lots 13 through 36, Block No. 39, Riverview Addition,
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, for the sum
of $352.00 for one year
and
Lots 3, 4, 6, 7 , 8, 9, 10 , 11, 12 except a triangle
of property described as follows: beginning at the
Northwest corner of Lot 10, then Southerly along the
Westerly lot lines of Lots 10 , 11 and 12 to the South-
west corner of Lot 12, thence Easterly to a point 30
feet East of the Southwest corner of Lot 12, thence
Northwesterly to the point of beginning; all in Block
55.
Lots 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37 , 38, 43, 44, 47 , and 48
all in Block 55.
The North 450 feet of the North-South alley in Block 55.
All in Riverview Addition, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa, for the sum of $308.00 for one year,
be, and the same are hereby approved for the term of May 1 , 1979
thru April 30, 1980 for auto salvage yard purposes, subject to
(1) obtaining and maintaining a current Auto Salvage License, and
(2) if required to vacate, shall do so immediately and remove all
automobiles, parts, and other personal property, etc. , (3) Lessee
agrees to comply with all City Ordinances relative to Auto Salvage
and Junk Yard Operation, (4) Sion hold harmless agreement , (5)
furnish a certificate of Insurance,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to sign and execute said Lease Agreements
with said Jerry Weekley dba J & L Auto Salvage, on behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
