A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SALE OF DISPOSAL PARCEL NO. J-36 IN THE WESTFIELD-
VIRDEN URBAN RENEWAL AREA, PROJECT NO. IOWA R-7, AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF THE NECESSARY CONTRACT FOR SALE OF LAND FOR PRIVATE REDEVELOPMENT AND DEED
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo had a notice published in
the Waterloo Daily Courier concerning the proposed sale of a parcel of land
described as:
SEE ATTACHED EXHIBIT "A"
known as Disposal Parcel No. J-36 in the Westfield-Virden Urban Renewal Area,
Project No. Iowa R-7, and asking for objections against sale, if any; and
WHEREAS, on the date of the hearing, there were no written objections
filed and no oral objections presented; and
WHEREAS, the City Council was of the opinion that said real property
should be sold to the Grantees, Wood Products Company, for the reasons set
out in Resolution No. 26258 adopted April 16, 1979, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, THAT THE
SALE OF THE PARCEL OF LAND DESCRIBED AS:
SEE ATTACHED EXHIBIT o"A"
to Wood Products Company for a cash consideration of Three Thousand Four Hundred
Dollars ($3,400.00) be and the same is hereby approved by the City Council of
the City of Waterloo, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute and
acknowledge the necessary contract and deed to consummate said sale.

BEGINNING AT A POINT ON THE SOUTHEASTERLY LINE OF SAID LOT 51 WHICH
POINT IS 75 FEET SOUTHWESTERLY FROt4 THE EASTERLY CORNER OF SAID LOT 51 ;
THENCE NORTHWESTERLY ALONG A STKAI,4111 LINE TO A POINT ON THE SOUTH-
WESTERLY LINE OF THE NORTHEASTERLY 54 FEET OF SAID LOT 51 , WHICH POINT
