A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO C. L. GIBBON
AND AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF ONE TEMPORARY
ASPHALT DRIVEWAY AT 1608 BURTON AVENUE, WATERLOO, IOWA
IRRESPECTIVE OF A LATER OFFICIAL GRADE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLO), IOWA: That ,
WHEREAS, C. L. Gibson
has made written application to the City Council asking that he
be authorized and permitted to construct one temporary asphalt driveway
at 1608 Burton Avenue
without respect to a permanent
sidewalk grade when and if the same may be subsequently set on S 2 of
Fol Pt SW NW Sec 14 T89 R13 Com at SW Cor NW 4 Sec 14 T89 R13 Th E 660 Ft Th N 330 Ft
th W 664.7 Ft to W Sec Line Th S 330 Ft to Beg Exc S 60 Ft W 183 Ft & Exc St, Unplatted
Waterloo East
known as 1608 Burton Avenue
and
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
that said request should be granted, now, therefore ,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permission is hereby granted to
C. L. Gibson to
construct one temporary asphalt driveway at 1608 Burton Avenue, Waterloo, Iowa
in accordance with the existing contour of the abutting land with the
subjective understanding and agreement between the City of Waterloo,
Iowa , and the said C. L. Gibson
that , should at a later date a permanent formal grade be established for
sidewalk purposes or otherwise, that the said
C. L. Gibson will immediately thereafter,
and at his own expense, remove all or whatever portion of
temporary asphalt driveway he may have constructed, and re-
build or reconstruct the same in accordance with the permanent grade
as may hereafter be set and established, the work to be done under the
supervision of the City Engineer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is authorized and direct-
ed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Black Hawk
County Recorder for recording and the Black Hawk County Auditor for
filing in order that this said action may become a matter of official
County Record.
