RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE OILING OF VARIOUS STREETS, AVENUES,
DRIVES, COURT, ALLEYS, ETC. AND PORTIONS THEREOF IN THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS DESIGNATED IN RESOLUTION NO, 26339,
BEING RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY, ADOPTED JUKE 4, 1979.
F.Y. 1979 OILING PROGRAM, CONTRACT NO. 1
WHEREAS, on the 4th clay of June, 1979, the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, passed and adopted Resolution No. 26339, being Resolution of
Necessity for the oiling of various streets, avenues, drives, court, alleys,
etc. and portions of streets, avenues, drives, court, alleys, etc. in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, said streets, avenues, drives, court, alleys, etc. being
described in said Resolution of Necessity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA: That, the streets, avenues, drives, court, alleys, etc. described in
said Resolution of Necessity, being Resolution No. 26339, which by this re-
ference is made a part hereof with the sane force and effect as if set out
herein verbatim, be improved by oiling the same and that the cost and ex-
pense of said improvement be assessed against the real estate abutting thereon.
That said work shall be done in accordance with the plans and specifica-
tions on file in the Office of the City Clerk, and shall be done by the
Superintendent of Streets under the direction of the City Engineer, and the
Public Works Committee of this Council, and an itemized account of all the
costs and expenses thereof shall be kept and a report of the same made to
this Council upon the completion of said work.
Passed and adopted this 4th day of June, 1979.
