RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COMPLETION OF
REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE
AS TO WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED BY
WATCO CONSTRUCTION, INC . , FOR F,Y, 1979
MAYWOOD WATER EXTENSION, CONTRACT NO,
501, ACCEPTING THE WORK AND AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT IN FULL ACCORDINGLY .
WHEREAS , Watco Construction, Inc . , of Waterloo, Iowa, have under
contract with the City of Waterloo, Iowa, dated December 4, 1978, furnished
certain materials and performed labor in connection with F .Y. 1979 Maywood
Water Extension, Contract No . 501, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, the Completion Report of the Engineers for the work performed
and materials furnished by the said contractors, under said contract, is
$53 , 573 , 97, being the total construction cost of this project, and
WHEREAS , under the terms of said contract said Contractors , Watco
Construction, Inc . , are to be paid 907 of the monthly estimates as
furnished by the Engineers for the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS , said Contractors have been previously paid the amount of
$47 , 435 . 83 from Block Grant Funds as per the Engineer' s Report, leaving
a balance due of $780, 74, from Block Grant Funds, and
WHEREAS, the Completion Report and Recommendation of Acceptance
dated May 31, 1979, of the Engineers , certify that the work on this
project has now been completed by said contractors , now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA: That
Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of the Engin-
eers be approved, the work of Watco Construction, Inc . , Waterloo, Iowa,
accepted , that said contractors , Watco Construction, Inc . , Waterloo, Iowa,
be paid the sum of $780. 74, being payment in full in accordance with
the Engineers Report, and the Finance Director be, and he is hereby,
authorized, empowered and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly for
the sum of $780. 74, and deliver the same to the said Watco Construction,
Inc , , Waterloo, Iowa .
