RESOLUTION APPROVING INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF WATERLOO AND CITY OF CEDAR
FALLS ON FAUS PROJECT .
WHEREAS , in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 28E
of the 1977 Code of Iowa, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, referred to
as First Party, and the City of Cedar Falls , Iowa, referred to as
Second Party, are desirous of designating the First Party as agent
for Second Party in all matters relating to the route location study
for the Hackett Road Bypass FAUS Project and preparation of the
required EIS for Viking Road from Deere Road to Cedar Heights Drive ,
Deere Road from City limits to Viking Road, Cedar Heights Drive
from Viking Road to Greenhill , Viking Road from South Main Street
to Deere Road, in the City of Cedar Falls , Iowa, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WALE RLOO, IOWA,
that the Intergovernmental Agreement dated June 25 , 1979, between
the City of Waterloo, Iowa and City of Cedar Falls, Iowa, relating
to route location study for the Hackett Road Bypass FAUS Project
and preparation of the required EIS , etc , for the above mentioned
streets in Cedar Falls , Iowa, be , and the same is hereby, approved
and accepted, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said
Agreement with the City of Cedar Falls , Iowa, in behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
Passed and adopted this 25th day of June, 1979, approved
by the Mayor this 25th day of June , 1979 .
