RESOLUTION NO. 2023-500
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY LODGE CONSTRUCTION,
INC., OF CLARKSVILLE, IOWA IN THE AMOUNT OF
$303,947.40, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2021 UPTON
AVENUE AND CARRIAGE HILL DRIVE STORMWATER
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 1010, AND
RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Lodge Construction, Inc., of Clarksville, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2021 Upton Avenue and Carriage Hill Drive Stormwater Improvements
Project, Contract No. 1010, and
WHEREAS, Lodge Construction, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by Council
June 7, 201, Resolution No. 2021-397.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Lodge Construction, Inc., at a total cost of $ 303,947.40, in
conjunction with the FY 2021 Upton Avenue and Carriage Hill Drive Stormwater Improvements
Project, Contract No. 1010, are hereby approved, and the two-year Maintenance Bond is hereby
accepted and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21' day of August 2023.
