RESOLUTION NO. 2023-506
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS SEPTEMBER 14, 2023, AND
DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS SEPTEMBER 18, 2023, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE PREFABRICATED SHELTER AT
3233 ANSBOROUGH AVENUE PROJECT, CONTRACT NO.
1087, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the Prefabricated Shelter at 3233 Ansborough Avenue Project, Contract No.
1087, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the Prefabricated Shelter at 3233
Ansborough Avenue Project, Contract No. 1087, be scheduled for September 14, 2023, at 1:00
p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 18th day of September 2023,
to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the Prefabricated Shelter at 3233 Ansborough
Avenue Project, Contract No. 1087.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
