RESOLUTION NO. 2023-521
RESOLUTION APPROVING A LETTER OF INTENT WITH
TRILLIUM TRANSPORTATION FUELS, LLC, OF HOUSTON,
TEXAS, FOR THE DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, AND
OPERATION OF RENEWABLE NATURAL GAS PROJECTS
AT THE CITY'S WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT AND
ANAEROBIC LAGOON, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Letter of Intent dated August 21, 2023, between Trillium Transportation Fuels, LLC, of
Houston, Texas, and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for the design, construction, and operation of
renewable natural gas projects at the City's wastewater treatment plant and anaerobic lagoon, is
hereby approved, and the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of August 2023.
