AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2020 TRAFFIC CODE BY
REPEALING SUBSECTION (46) MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.
DRIVE OF SEC. 541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN
CERTAIN AREAS; AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A
NEW SUBSECTION (46) MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DRIVE
OF SEC. 541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN
AREAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Subsection (46) Martin Luther King Jr. Drive of Sec. 541, Increasing Speed Limits in
Certain Areas, of the 2000 Traffic Code, is hereby repealed in its entirety; that a new Subsection
(46) Martin Luther King Jr. Drive of Sec. 541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the
2020 Traffic Code, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
(46) Martin Luther King Jr. Drive —
Eastbound:
from Franklin Street to 200 feet east of S. Barclay Street
from 200 feet east of S. Barclay Street to 300 feet northeast of Mobile Street
from 300 feet northeast of Mobile Street to N. Elk Run Road
Westbound:
from Franklin Street to 200 feet east of S. Barclay Street
from 200 feet east of S. Barclay Street to 300 feet northeast to Mobile Street
from 300 feet northeast of Mobile Street to N. Elk Run Road
