L ' f/ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, DECLARING AND ESTABLISHING FIRE ZONES; REPEALING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 2422 OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA: Section 1. That Section 3 only of Ordinance No. 2422 of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, entitled "Fire Zones", shall be repealed in its entirety, and all other Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 2. The entire incorporated area of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby:declared to be and is 'hereby established as a Fire District, and said Fire District shall be known and designated as Fire Zones 1, 2, and 3. Fire Zone 1 will include all areas zoned C-3 (Central Business District) and M-2 (Heavy Industrial District) ; Fire Zone 2 will include all areas zoned as M-1 (Light Industrial) , C-1 (Neighborhood Commercial) ,C-2i (General Commercial) , and S (Shopping Center) : Fire Zone 3 will include all areas as zoned R-1 (One Family Residential) , R-2 (Two Family Residential) , R-3 (Multiple Family Resi- dential) , R-4 (Multiple Family Residential) , and A-1 (Agricultural) , as set forth on the Planning and Zoning Map approved under Ordinance No. 2479. Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published. Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective on and after the first working day after its publication as required by the laws of this City and State. Passed and adopted this 24th day of February _ 1969.
