BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA: Section 1: That Section 225 "Special Stops" of Ordinance No. 2203 known as the Traffic Ordinance which reads as follows be, and the same is hereby repealed in its entirety: Section 225. SPECIAL STOPS. The following intersections or parts of intersections shall be known as "Stop Intersections" and every driver of a vehicle shall stop in accordance with the provisions of Section 104 of this ordinance: STREETS Walnut Street & Iowa Street Hammond Avenue & Williston Avenue West Ninth Street & Mitchell Avenue Fullerton Avenue & Willard Street Section 2: The following Section 225 "Special Stops" of Ordinance No. 2203 known as the Traffic Ordinance be, and the same is hereby enacted in lieu thereof: Section 225. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA: Section 1 . REPEALING. That Ordinances Nos . 1800, 1802 , 2042' 2181, 2183:- 2191'; 2253''and all other ordinances or parts thereof of the City of Water- loo, Iowa , in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 2 . WARDS . That the territory embraced within the city limits of the City of Waterloo , Iowa, be divided into five (5) wards , to be called the First , Second , Third, Fourth and Fifth Wards , the boundaries of said wards are hereby established and defined and set out in Sections 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 and 7 of this ordinance. Section 3. FIRST WARD. That the First Ward shall be all the territory within the city limits of the City of Waterloo , Iowa lying Southerly and Westerly of a line hereinafter described as follows : Beginning at the intersection of the main channel of the Cedar River and the most westerly boundary line of the city limits of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, thence along the main channel of the Cedar River to the intersection of the main channel of Black Hawk Creek; thence along the main channel of Black Hawk Creek to Elsa Street extended; thence along Elsa Street extended, Elsa Street , Pett Street extended, Pett Street and the southerly boundary line of Elmwood Cemetery to Baltimore Street ; thence along Baltimore Street to its intersection with West Fourth Street ; thence along West Fourth Street to its intersection with Ansborough Avenue ; thence along Ansborough Avenue to the southerly boundary line of the city limits of the City of Waterloo , Iowa . Section 4. SECOND WARD. That the Fourth Ward shall be all the territory within the city limits of the City of Waterloo , Iowa , described as follows : All the area lying north and northerly of the main channel of the Cedar River and east and easterly of East Fourth Street and East Fourth Street extended to the north boundary line of the city limits of the City of Waterloo , Iowa. - 2 - Section 7. FIFTH WARD. The 1st precinct of the 1st ward shall em- brace the territory within the city limits of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, described as follows : Beginning at the intersection of West Fourth Street and Balti- more Street , thence along Baltimore Street to the southerly boundary line of Elmwood Cemetery; thence along the southerly boundary line of Elmwood Cemetery to the intersection of Pett Street , thence along Pett Street , Pett Street extended, Elsa Street , and Elsa Street extended to the main channel of Black Hawk Creek; thence along Black Hawk Creek to the intersection of Ansborough Avenue ; thence along Ansborough Avenue to the intersection of Home Park Blvd. ; thence along Home Park Blvd. to the intersection of Sullivan Avenue ; thence along Sullivan Avenue to the intersection of West Fourth Street ; thence along West Fourth Street to Baltimore Street , being the place of beginning. - 3 - Section 10. 2ND OF THE FIRST. The 3rd precinct of the 1st ward shall em- brace the territory within the city limits of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, described as follows : Beginning at the intersection of Ansborough Avenue and the main channel of Black Hawk Creek, thence along the main channel of Black Hawk Creek to the westerly city limits boundary line ; thence along the city limits boundary line to its intersection with the southerly city limits boundary line ; thence along the city limits boundary line to its intersection with Ans- borough Avenue ; thence along Ansborough Avenue to the intersection of the main channel of Black Hawk Creek, being the place of beginning.
