RESOLUTION APPROVING A REAL ESTATE PURCHASE
AGREEMENT AND APPROVING DEED TO DONATE REAL
PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF WATERLOO, TO RE-ACQUIRE
PROPERTY FROM ASCENSION LUTHERAN CHURCH THAT
WAS PREVIOUSLY SOLD BY THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $0.00, LOCATED AT 2211 MAYNARD
AVENUE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID PURCHASE AGREEMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that the Real Estate Purchase Agreement and Deed to Donate Property, dated July 17, 2023,
between Ascension Lutheran Church and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to re-acquire property from
Ascension Lutheran Church, at no cost to the City, that was previously sold by the City of
Waterloo, located at 2211 Maynard Avenue, and legally described as follows:
PARCEL "M", SOUTHWEST QUARTER, SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 89
NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST OF THE 5TH PM, CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK
HAWK COUNTY, IOWA A SURVEY OF PARCEL "M" OF THE
SOUTHWEST QUARTER (SW 1/4), SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 89 NORTH
(T89N), RANGE 13 WEST (R13W) OF THE 5TH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN
