As the City seeks transportation engineering services in Waterloo, Iowa, ISG stands
eager and ready to assist. ISG understands that the City would like to conduct a review
of the idea of converting Western Avenue and Johnson Street to one-way streets to
help ease traffic problems for Irving Elementary School.
Backed by our in-house, multi -disciplinary professionals, vast transportation experience,
and a sound project understanding, ISG proposes to provide the following scope of
services to meet your project needs.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Task
ISG will conduct a review of traffic counts provided by the City of Waterloo, in
conjunction with street width and traffic patterns. ISG will contact School officials
and make one site visit during the peak school traffic. With this information, ISG will
determine the feasibility of converting Western Avenue and Johnson Street to one-way
operations to better accommodate pick-up and drop-off locations for Irving Elementary
School. Our recommendation will be provided to the City of Waterloo Traffic
Operations and the Waterloo Community School District.
COMPENSATION
ISG proposes to provide the scope of work described within this proposal for
compensation of $2,200. Anticipated reimbursable expenses such as travel, mileage,
and printing are included within the compensation listed above.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
ISG's goal for this proposal, like its services, is to be flexible with accommodating
the requirements of this project. Upon request, ISG is able to provide a subsequent
proposal to assist with additional professional design and construction phase services
that will be necessary to facilitate this project as it moves forward.

The General Terms and Conditions applicable to this Proposal are available at
the link below and are hereby accepted and incorporated herein by reference.
Upon acceptance of this Proposal, the parties can proceed with the project
based on this signed Proposal, per its General Terms and Conditions, or for
more complex projects, ISG, at its discretion, will prepare and require the
use of an AIA or EJCDC Contract that will govern the project.
