RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDING PERMIT FEE
SCHEDULES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That it has been determined by the Building
Official/Maintenance Administrator and the City Council of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, that certain permit fee schedules for
electrical, plumbing and mechanical permits should be amended as
follows:
a) Addition of a base permit fee of $10.00 to the
electrical, plumbing and mechanical permits as
submitted in the budget process.
b) An increase from $42.00 to $50.00 for re -inspection to
be consistent across all permits.
c) Working without a permit to double the permit fee or an
additional $50.00 added to permit fee, whichever is
greater.
d) Fuel gas fees are moved from plumbing to mechanical to
coordinate with the Fuel Gas Code permits.
Section 2. That the final schedule of electrical, plumbing
and mechanical permit fees is hereby amended, as shown on the
attached schedule, and by reference made a part hereof.
