RESOLUTION APPROVING LEASE AGREEMENT NO. GS-
06P-LIA00522, WITH THE GENERAL SERVICES
ADMINISTRATION FOR 1,083 RENTAL SQUARE FEET OF
OFFICE SPACE FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND
SECURITY DBA THE TRANSPORTATION SECURITY
ADMINISTRATION FOR A TERM OF 10 YEARS (5 YEARS
FIXED) COMMENCING NOVEMBER 1, 2023 - OCTOBER 31,
2033 (IF BOTH TERMS ARE EXECUTED), FOR AN ANNUAL
TOTAL OF $32,598.30 IN AIRPORT DEPARTMENT
REVENUE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that Lease Agreement No. GS-06P-LIA00522, with the General Services Administration
for 1,083 rental square feet of office space for the Department of Homeland Security dba the
Transportation Security Administration for a term of 10 years (5 years fixed) commencing
November 1, 2023 - October 31, 2033 (if both terms are executed), for an annual total of
$32,598.30 in airport department revenue, is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of September 2023.
