RESOLUTION NO. 2023-532
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS OCTOBER 5, 2023, AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS OCTOBER 16, 2023, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2022 AIRLINE PASSENGER
TERMINAL PARKING CANOPY STRUCTURE PROJECT,
CONTRACT NO. 0004232, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction
with the FY 2022 Airline Passenger Terminal Parking Canopy Structure Project, Contract No.
0004232, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2022 Airline Passenger
Terminal Parking Canopy Structure Project, Contract No. 0004232, be scheduled for October 5,
2023, at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 16`h day of October 2023, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2022 Airline Passenger Terminal Parking
Canopy Structure Project, Contract No. 0004232.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of
said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
