RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS SEPTEMBER 13, 2023, AND
DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS SEPTEMBER 18, 2023, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE WATERLOO PUBLIC LIBRARY
2023 INTERIOR RENOVATION PROJECT, CONTRACT NO.
28439, AND DIRECT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction
with the Waterloo Public Library 2023 Interior Renovation Project, Contract No. 28439, are
hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the Waterloo Public Library 2023
Interior Renovation Project, Contract No. 28439, be scheduled for September 13, 2023, at 1:00
p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 1861 day of September 2023,
to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the Waterloo Public Library 2023 Interior
Renovation Project, Contract No. 28439.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of
said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
