RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF KNK
PROPERTIES FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE
"S-1" SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICT GENERALLY
LOCATED AT 1411 FLAMMANG DRIVE (FORMER ECONO
FOODS BUILDING) FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A
9,476 SQUARE FOOT ADDITION TO THE EXISTING
56,941 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING IN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "S-1"
Shopping Center District generally located at 1411 Flammang Drive
(former Econo Foods building) for the development of a 9,476
square foot addition to the existing 56,941 square foot building,
legally described as follows:
Crossroads Plat No. 2 Lot 2 and Easement Book 8 Page
610 & Easement Book 8 Page 599, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 1, 2010, at 5:30
p.m., at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided
by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a site plan amendment to the "S-1" Shopping
Center District generally located at 1411 Flammang Drive (former
Econo Foods building) for the development of a 9,476 square foot
addition to the existing 56,941 square foot building, be and the
same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1St day of March, 2010.
